Where does this group go?

Hi there, it's me this time. Okay, I know I am not the only one, we wanna get started finally, don't we?!
Even though we're communicating through skype nearly every day, I thought I'd better write a blog post this time and hope that everybody will get the information in this way because you're not all permanently using skype.

First, I wanna say that I don't wanna be the main-admin or the person who runs it all in the end. We started this as a group and hopefully we will run it all together. We all have other things to do besides, but let's give our bests. Every single one of you can contribute something :-)

Now I am finally getting to the point!
Maybe you know that I am still new to CGHub and I didn't (and still don't) really know how the groups there work. Somehow I thought it is like a forum where we can post topics, threads, images etc. But as I found out today, I was wrong.
Together we already collected some ideas for assignments and I also have some ideas on how to start and with what. So today I wanted to just finally start and made a new topic in the CGHub group (I deleted it again later) and in my imagination the topic would be "assignments" and there we could post under-topics or at least we could have seperate topics and then everybody can upload their results from each assignment there.
But no, that doesn't work. Tell me if I am wrong but it seems like we can't upload pictures in topic-replies. So how can we make it work?

I just wanna ask for your ideas and opinion. I gave google+ communities a try and made a STUDY-BUDDY community for testing. There's a timeline (called "discussion"), sharing options, pics can be posted, membership by invation and "events" wich I think are perfect for our assignments. I think it has everything that we need but facebook groups would also be an alternative, if you guys prefer facebook. Or don't want any of these? Please tell me what you think here via comment or skype or wherever you like...

the google+ test-community is here!
